Early 19th century house, with mid 19th and 20th century additions and alterations. Constructed of red brick, and features a slate roof with overhanging wooden eaves and two gable chimney stacks. The building is of two storeys with attic, and has a five-bay front with first floor band. Two steps lead up to the central doorway, which has a broad pilastered doorcase, ornate overlight and partially glazed door, set beneath an ornate wooden porch with open tracery and hipped lead roof. The doorway is flanked by single canted bay windows with tripartite plain sashes and broad entablature.
