Full Description

An early 19th century house with mid 19th century alterations. The building is constructed in red brick and has a slate roof with wooden eaves. Two gable chimney stacks. Two storeys, three bay front. For the full description and the legal address of this listed building please refer to the appropriate List of Buildings of Special Architectural or Historic Interest. {1} The building has an arched, four-light sash window to the centre of the first floor, the shape of which is echoed by the centrally placed door beneath. {2} Montague House, Fleet. Partially extant 19th century farmstead. Regular courtyard of U plan. The farmhouse is detached from the main working complex. There has been a partial loss (less than 50%) of traditional buildings. Isolated location. Large modern sheds are located on the site. {3}
