An early 18th century house, remodelled c.1770 and 20th century alterations. Constructed in red brick, with a slate
roof. Two gable end chimney stacks. Moulded wooden eaves, brick coped and tumbled gables with similar evidence of earlier single storey range contained within gable wall. Two storeys and five bays, with a central doorway with panelled door and reveal and moulded doorcase. Linden House is early 18th century, raised in the mid 18th century.{2}
Linden House, Gedney. Partially extant 18th century farmstead. Regular courtyard with L-plan range plus detached buildings to the fourth side of the yard. The farmhouse is detached from the main working complex. There has been a partial loss (less than 50%) of traditional buildings. Isolated location. Large modern sheds are located to the side of the site. {3}
