PRN 24002
Church of St Luke. 1869-71. Nave and chancel red brick, with a bellcote and lancet windows. Red brick inside. Of about 1871 the tiled chancel and alabaster reredos with symbols and evangelists. There is a large painting of the Adoration of the Shepherds, English, early 19th century. No doubt the altar piece of an important church. Two shepherds left and right. They could be portraits. The Virgin higher up.{1}
