Full Description

PRN 64429 An assemblage of late Neolithic to early Iron Age flint implements retrieved from a range of features and topsoil deposits associated with a middle to late Iron Age roundhouse site. A significant proportion of this assemblage dates to the late Bronze Age to early Iron Age. This material includes crude multi-platform cores, thick and squat flakes with acute butt/face angles. The only formal tool types recovered were scapers and a borer. This range of tools and amorphous forms are typical for assemblages of this date.{1}{2}
