Full Description

PRN 64385 Group of mid 19th century farm buildings arranged in a U shape open to the south, also mid 19th century farmhouse, all situated within the Wilsford conservation area. The farmhouse has an inscription including the date 1847 and the initials I and M. All the buildings are constructed of limestone rubble with ashlar details and all, including the farmhouse, are connected by stone walls. The buildings have 20th century alterations including 20th century windows and concrete roof tiles on the farmhouse and corrugated asbestos roofs on most of the farm buildings. {1} Hanbeck Farm (Hanbeck), Wilsford. Partially extant 19th century farmstead. Regular courtyard of U plan. The farmhouse is detached from the main working complex. There has been a partial loss (less than 50%) of traditional buildings. Located within or in association with a village. Large modern sheds are located on the site. {2}
