Full Description

PRN 46732 Several pits and ditches of late Roman date, as well as a possible wall foundation which may also be late Roman in date, were uncovered during an archaeological evaluation. The density of these features may indicate the presence of a settlement in the immediate vicinity, and environmental evidence suggests that grain drying and processing took place on the site. {1}{2}
