A brick works is shown on the 1905 Ordnance Survey map. {1}
The brick works at Brant Broughton produced bricks, tiles and pipes. It was a hand brick works, although machinery was installed 2 years before the yard ceased working in 1912. The closure was due to the cost of transporting coal. {2}
