Full Description
PRN 64338
A square enclosure containing a possible pit is visible on aerial photographs. This feature has been tentatively interpreted as a square barrow due to its morphology and also its proximity to excavated possible square barrows to the west (PRN 62056). {1}{2}
A pond is shown in roughly this area on the 1905 Ordnance Survey map, but it is rounded and irregular in shape whereas the cropmark feature is regular with right angled corners. {3}
