In the field behind The Lodge is a cluster of trees surrounding an oblong pond. This may be the remains of a Medieval fishpond associated with Haverholme priory (PRN 60740). The priory fishponds are recorded in a number of Medieval documents. {1} The pond is shown on the 1905 Ordnance Survey map and labelled as 'Fish Pond', although not in the Gothic font used for antiquities, suggesting it may instead be contemporary with the surrounding post-Medieval Haverholme Park. {2}
