The Angel Inn was a mud and stud inn which stood on the site of the present public house (the Finch Hatton Arms). {1}
The Angel is listed in White's Directory of 1856, when its proprietor was Mary Harmston. {2}
The Angel is not shown on the Ordnance Survey map of 1905 whereas the Finch Hatton Arms is present, therefore the Angel had presumably been demolished by this date. {3}
