Full Description

PRN 36787 Three pits and a number of post holes of early Iron Age date were discovered during the excavation of a Neolithic settlement revealed by quarrying. Finds include pottery and a complete loom weight. These features were clearly just on the edge of a settlement which lay just outside the excavated area. Features revealed on aerial photographs support this. {2}
