Full Description
PRN 64103
During the Great Depression Lord Garvagh set his staff to build a boathouse and an indoor badminton court to keep them occupied and paid. The building was erected immediately northwest of the lake. The badminton building was later donated to the village to become the Village Hall. The building was resited just off Church Avenue. Photographs of the village hall appear in a recent historical study of Ashby Hall.{1}
