Full Description
PRN 13868
Several post hole structures, possibly houses, were identified during archaeological evaluation south of Wash Road and dated to the late Saxon and medieval periods. Ditches and pits were also uncovered and the area may well have been used for agricultural as well as domestic activity. However, only a sample of the features uncovered were actually excavated and therefore the nature of activity at this site is currently unclear. Further features were also found within the confines of the Bozon Hall moat (see PRN 12542). {1}{2}
