Drinking fountain and water trough, Main Street, Ashby de la Launde. Depicted on the Ordnance Survey First Edition map of 1891 and the County Series map of 1905.{1}{2}
The drinking fountain appears to have been built during the expansion of the estate by the Rev. John William King (sometime between 1841-1875). A photograph of the fountain is contained in a recent historical study.{3}
