Full Description

PRN 64090 The Old Vicarage, Main Street, Ashby de la Launde. The vicarage is depicted on the Ordnance Survey County Series (First Edition) map of 1891.{1} The date of construction of the vicarage is not known, but it is possibly the same as other buildings in the near vicinity. Possibly constructed during the expansion and redevelopment of Ashby Hall in the 1830s, although it could be earlier. The vicarage was probably the residence of the vicar of St Hybald's Church (PRN 62797).{2}
