Full Description
Early-mid 19th century farmhouse. Two storeys in white brick. Three windows, hung sashes with glazing bars, brick voussoirs. Hipped Welsh slate roof with 2 brick stacks. Two windows to ground floor and moulded stone doorway with cornice and rectangular fanlight above half-glazed door. Highfield Grange Farmhouse and Farm Buildings to Highfield Grange form a group, the Farm Buildings being of local interest. Highfield Grange, Gainsborough. Partially extant 19th century farmstead. Regular courtyard with linked working buildings to all four sides of the yard. The farmhouse is attached to a range of working buildings. There has been a partial loss (less than 50%) of traditional buildings. Isolated location. {2}
