Former extractive pit in Ashby de la Launde. Marked as a 'stone pit' on the Ordnance Survey County Series map of 1905. {1}
The former extractive pit is depicted on an aerial photograph. {2}
The earthwork remains of the pit are visible on LIDAR imagery, preserved beneath woodland. {3}
