Full Description

PRN 46703 Parish church constructed c.1791. Coursed and squared greenstone rubble and red brick, pantile roofs with stone coped gables. Nave and chancel. Planked west door with plain fanlight and semi-circular surround. Above in the brick gable a louvred and gabled wooden bell housing. Greenstone north wall of nave and chancel are featureless. 3 light east window with cusped wooden tracery, and in the south brick wall 2 two light windows with wooden tracery. Inside is a plastered semi-circular chancel arch, otherwise there is a panelled late 18th century pulpit and a 14th century octagonal font having trefoils to the sides, human head masks and moulded rim with fleurons.{1}
