Full Description
Extensive earthwork remains of the shrunken medieval village of Baumber were identified on aerial photography examined as part of the National Mapping Programme. The earthworks were thought to represent the remains of a number of toft and crofts, enclosures, boundaries, building platforms, field systems, hollow ways and ridge and furrow. {1}
