Full Description
The shrunken Medieval village of Sotby. Visible features include the earthwork remains of former crofts and tofts, building platforms, buildings, hollow ways, quarries and boundaries, all identified on aerial photography by the National Mapping Programme. {1}
Most (possibly all) of the ridge and furrow recorded by NMP on the south side of the village has been levelled by arable cultivation. {2}
