Full Description

PRN 46682 Red brick late Victorian school building (c. 1885) and associated schoolmaster's house, both with slate roof and yellow brick detail around windows and corners of building. The school building also features decorative stonework around some windows, which may be reused material from a 12th century church. The school closed down in 2016. {1}{2} White's 1856 Trade Directory states that a National School was erected in the parish, to accommodate the education of children from the three Saltfleetby parishes, was built in 1851. It is unclear whether that building was on the same site as the current school buildings. {3}
