Full Description

This was the main public quay on the west bank of the Haven, and is thought to have been built at some point around 1810 or 1815. It is of constructed of brick and stone, and was originally designed with a curving wall similar to the nearby Packhorse Quay (see MLI13509), though this is now lost behind 1950s piling. {1}{2}{3}
