Full Description
Donna Nook Camp was a Prisoner of War camp during the Second World War. In the official government numbering it was camp number 292/292b and referred to as Donna Nook Airfield, Ark Road, North Somercotes. It is recorded as a German working camp. It was a dispersed site. {1}
The camp is visible on the 6 inch Ordnance Survey map of the early 1950s. {2}
Parts of the site are still visible today. {3}
