Full Description

Probable post medieval cropmark quarry, Irnham, as depicted on the NMP. {1} The 1st Edition 25 Inch Ordnance Survey map depicts a gravel pit at this location. The pit is visible as a cropmark on satellite imagery. Only the northern portion, within the plantation of Irnham Pasture, appears to still exist as earthworks. {2}{3}{4}
