Summary
Small flint scatter, Partney.
Type and Period (1)
- ARTEFACT SCATTER (Late Mesolithic to Middle Neolithic - 7000 BC to 3001 BC)
Protected Status/Designation
- None recorded
Full Description
PRN 46457
Six residual flints were found during excavations prior to the Partney by-pass. There were no other signs of early prehistoric activity on this site and as the flakes are knapping debris similar to that seen at the nearby flint-working site to the west (44833) it seems possible they are related to that site. {1}{2}
