Full Description
PRN 46446
A scatter of thirty two flint artefacts was found during the construction of a British Gas pipeline. The scatter contained no tools, but did contain a high number of primary flakes and worked lumps. This suggests the possibility of an extraction site within the area and that the initial reduction of the flint was taking place on or near to this.{1}
