Full Description
PRN 55277
Three ditches were uncovered during work on a British Gas pipeline. Two of the features were cut through by the third, suggesting they are earlier that it. However, no datable finds were recovered and the date and function of all the ditches remains uncertain as does their exact relationship to each other. Cattle bone fragments were recovered from the secondary silt fill of the later ditch.{1}
