PRN 55274
A scatter of forty six flint artefacts was noted during fieldwalking prior to the construction of a British gas pipeline. The artefacts included four scrapers, and the knapping style was consistent with a late Neolithic to early Bronze age date. The recognisable tools included a much damaged section of a polished implement, probably an axehead, made from a chalk type flint and found at TF 1334 9691. {1}
