Full Description
A moderately V-inclined ditch with probable re-cut was recorded during work for a British Gas pipeline. The original ditch would have been 1.07m deep by approximately 2.70m wide, and was cut into chalk bedrock. The re-cut measured 0.73m deep by approximately 2.17m wide and mirrored the shape of the original cut. No finds were recovered from either the ditch or the re-cut. {1}
