PRN 55263
The remains of a ditch were discovered during work on a British Gas pipeline. The ditch had steep sides with a slightly flattened base and measured approximately 1.04m wide by 1.52m deep, cut into the natural chalk bedrock. It ran at roughly right angles to the pipe-trench, WNW-ESE. No finds were recovered from it.{1}
