PRN 63967 Archaeological evaluation on land off Boston Road, Sleaford recovered four sherds of Anglo-Saxon pottery. Three sherds of early Anglo-Saxon pottery (dating to the 5th to 8th century) were recovered from topsoil in Trench 3, while a single sherd of Maxey-type ware (Late 7th to Mid/Late 9th century) was found in Trench 4. No features were associated with this period of activity suggesting the Anglo-Saxon horizon had been largely ploughed away.{1}{2}
