Full Description
A two day metal detecting survey was commissioned by Lincolnshire County Council as part of a series of investigations into the potential site of a Roman Villa. Four non-ferrous artefacts were positively assigned to the medieval period. The evidence for medieval occupation is slight, and previous work has shown the location of the medieval settlement to be further to the south and west of the site. {1}
