PRN 23961
An archaeological watching brief undertaken on land at Lowgate, Gedney identified a number of ditches and pits which were recorded, but undated due to the lack of artefactual evidence. Several of the ditches were aligned with Medieval and post medieval features and are likely to be of similar date. One ditch, however, was cut by two Medieval linears suggesting a potential Anglo-Saxon or earlier date.{1}{2}
