Full Description

63959 A large complex of cropmarks including enclosures, boundary ditches, hut circles and pits are visible on aerial photographs. {1}{2}{3} These features are interpreted as being of prehistoric or Iron Age date. It is also suggested that they may form at least one settlement and a field system. It is not clear whether all the cropmarks in this complex are contemporary with each other, and they may represent more than one phase of activity. They may also be related to the possible prehistoric enclosures and settlements to the south (PRNs 60110, 60358, 64702). {1}
