A pound was observed on the first and second edition Ordnance Survey maps. {1}{2}
The pinfold was restored in 1984. In about 2009 the Parish Council paid for extensive repairs due to frost damage. The areas of the repairs can be seen as different coloured stonework where the front wall collapsed. According to the plaque, the pinfold is believed to be 12th century in date. {3}
