Full Description

PRN 46247 Three Bridges Hamlet is first mentioned in 1563 as having a population is 3 households. {1} Earthworks were observed on aerial photographs as part of the national mapping programme. These include crofts PRN 46247a - c (TF 4283 8794; TF 4347 8821; TF 4395 8837); enclosures PRN 46247d (TF 4283 8785); boundaries PRN 46247e - f (TF 4322 8801; TF 4382 8823); stonework crofts PRN 46247g (TF 4355 8814) {2}. Earthworks were observed at (TF 4385 8831) PRN 46247h on a site visit as part of the Lincolnshire Coastal Grazing Marsh project. The nature of the earthworks was not recorded. {3}
