Human remains were discovered during groundworks at 2A Thomas Street. Two members of the Built Environment Team of Lincolnshire County Council visited the site to confirm the presence and possible derivation of the human bone. Although not in situ, the skeletal remains may have been associated with a group of ditches seen in section. A collection of medieval to post medieval pottery sherds were collected, including a medieval green glazed handle and some late medieval glazed wares. The pottery sherds were thought to be associated with undated, possibly medieval or earlier, ditches seen on site.{1}
