Full Description

63821 A gas works with a gas holder was located on Vicarage Lane. The extent of the site is not known. The holder survived possibly until the 1960s or 1970s. {1}{2}{3} The Heckington Gas Light and Coke Co. was formed c.1892 and the village was lit by 1896. The works were still in operation in 1937. {4}
