Full Description

Cropmarks of a two probable prehistoric or Roman enclosures, to the south-east of Fotherby. The northern enclosure is largely rectangular in shape, and measures roughly 80m by 60m, with a possible internal pit feature visible towards the south-west corner. The southern enclosure has a more asymmetrical rectilinear shape, with a possible entrance in the south side. It measures 80m by 50m, and has a possible internal pit feature visible towards the eastern side. Identified on aerial photography examined as part of the National Mapping Programme. {1}
