Full Description
Earthworks of medieval ridge and furrow to the east of Grimoldby, identified on aerial photography by the National Mapping Programme. {1}
The ridge and furrow remains closest to the village centre were included in a programme of earthwork survey, conducted in May 2016 to inform proposed development on land to the south of Eastfield Lane. The remains in this area were quite ephemeral, but could still be discerned as faint linear earthworks, aligned on a roughly north-west to south-east axis. {2}{3}
