Full Description

PRN 13820 Fieldwalking along the route of the proposed water pipeline between Bolle Hall, Bicker and Wykes Manor Farm, Donington produced a range of finds, including a pottery scatter dating to between the 13th and 19th century. Artefacts of both periods were numerous in the area around Bolle Hall and also where the pipeline crossed Broad Lane. However, in the absence of any distinct concentrations it is probable that most of the artefactual material was deposited on the fields as a component of manuring scatter.{1}
