Full Description

Medieval seal-die found at Newball, dating from the early 13th century. The legend reads S'PETRI FILI WILI DE NEVEBEL (Seal of Peter FitzWilliam of Newball). It was found by a detectorist in October 1998 on the site of Newball deserted medieval village. It was reported to Scunthorpe Museum and to the coroner. {1}{2}{3}
