Full Description

Two small cut terminals of silver ingots, and a cut section of gold rod found close together in Torksey. Another group of nine larger pieces of cut ingots and ornaments were dispersed by sale in 1995 before being recorded. Also found separately in Torksey are a cut piece from a spectacular Irish decorated penannular brooch and part of a copper guilt pinhead. These bullion finds are exceptional and rare finds for the southern Danelaw. {1}
