Ridge and furrow earthworks were observed aerial photographs dated to 1971 as part of the Lincolnshire Coastal Grazing Marsh project. They were thought to be a field system dating to the medieval period. {1}
The earthworks have been levelled as a result of arable cultivation. {2}
