An early Bronze Age food vessel containing fragments of human bone was found somewhere in Kirkby la Thorpe parish before 1871. In is now in Lincoln Museum. It is 3 and a quarter inches in diameter and has a rough cordoned decoration of cord impressions all the way down. {1}{2}{3}
