Full Description

PRN 13816 An archaeological evaluation was undertaken in advance of construction of three temporary structures and two permanent transmission towers associated with a new substation at Bicker Fen, near Boston. Five evaluation trenches were machine-excavated over the proposed tower and mast footprints. No significant archaeological features or deposits were identified in the evaluation trenches, although a large Neolithic discoidal fint scraper was found close to a geotechnical borehole. {1} {2}
