PRN 45926 Public House and shop dating from the early eighteenth century, colourwashed brick and pantile roof, L-shaped in plan. For the full description and the legal address of this listed building please refer to the appropriate List of Buildings of Special Architectural or Historic Interest. {1} Formerly known as The George and Dragon and is reputed to have been built to replace the previous building which had been destroyed by fire. {3} The George Hotel retains fragments of an earlier 17th century building. {4}
