Full Description
House, dating from c.1702, which was raised in the late 18th century. Constructed of red brick with stucco dressings, and features a pantile roof with raised gables, one stone coped, the other brick coped, and two gable chimney stacks. The building is laid to an L-shaped plan, and is of three storeys. The three-bay front has a crude rendered second floor band and dentillated eaves board. The off-centre half-glazed panelled door has wood-panelled reveals, and an eared and pedimented surround. To the right are two glazing bar sash windows with lattice grills to lower parts. To the first floor are three similar sashes, and to second floor three shorter windows. All the windows have cambered brick heads and stucco key blocks. Between the second and third windows on the first floor is a Fire Insurance plaque. To the right hand gable is the capped off base of the early 18th century projecting stack and the contemporary tumbled gable can be seen.
