A human skeleton was recovered, from a depth of about 2 feet, during excavations to the north of Scopwick. It was lacking its skull. The remains were seen at Lincoln County Hospital, and the remains were those of an adult male, c.167cm (5 feet 7 inches) tall. There was some evidence of arthritis in the legs. There were no dateable associated finds. {1}{2}
